About TORII Labs

Where Quantum Theory Becomes Operational Reality

TORII Labs is the advanced research and development division of TORII Holdings Group — a team of physicists, engineers, and cryptographers working at the frontier of quantum computing, quantum communications, and post-quantum security.

Our Mission

Accelerate the Quantum Transition

We exist to close the gap between quantum theory and real-world deployment. Our research spans distributed quantum algorithms, entanglement-based communications, and post-quantum cryptographic infrastructure — with a focus on applications that matter: national security, critical infrastructure, and the next generation of commercial computing.

Every project at TORII Labs is designed to produce results that can be transitioned into operational systems — whether through TORII Technology Corporation's commercial platforms, TORII Defense's classified programs, or open publication in the scientific community.

Rigor First

We publish what we can prove. Every claim is backed by experimental data or peer-reviewed theory.

Operational Focus

Research that cannot be transitioned to deployment is incomplete. We design for real systems from day one.

Open Where Possible

We contribute to the scientific commons. Foundational findings are published; sensitive applications are protected.

Long-Horizon Thinking

Quantum advantage is a decade-scale transition. We invest in the infrastructure and talent to be ready.

Research Leadership

The Team

Dr. Maya Chen

Director of Quantum Algorithms

Former research scientist at IBM Quantum and MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Leads the distributed VQE and quantum optimization programs. PhD in Quantum Information Science, Caltech.

Dr. Tobias Okafor

Director of Cryptographic Systems

Specialist in post-quantum cryptography and NIST PQC standardization. Previously at NIST and NSA's Research Directorate. PhD in Applied Mathematics, University of Maryland.

Dr. Rafael Vasquez

Director of Quantum Communications

Photonics and quantum networking expert. Led QKD testbed deployments across three metropolitan networks. PhD in Experimental Physics, Stanford University.

Dr. Soo-Jin Park

Director of Commercial Applications

Bridges quantum research and enterprise deployment. Background in quantum-classical hybrid optimization and supply chain logistics. PhD in Operations Research, MIT.

The TORII Group

Part of a Larger Mission

TORII Labs operates within the TORII Holdings Group — a family of organizations aligned around a single thesis: quantum technologies will reshape security, computation, and communications within this decade. Each entity plays a distinct role.

TORII Holdings Group
Parent Organization

The strategic holding entity that coordinates investment, talent, and intellectual property across the TORII family. Provides long-term capital and governance for multi-decade research programs.

TORII Labs
Research & Development

The R&D engine. Conducts foundational and applied research in quantum algorithms, QKD, post-quantum cryptography, and quantum error correction. Publishes openly where possible; transitions findings to TORII Technology and TORII Defense.

TORII Technology Corporation
Commercial Deployment

Translates TORII Labs research into commercial quantum software platforms, hybrid quantum-classical APIs, and enterprise security products. Serves financial services, logistics, and critical infrastructure sectors.

TORII Defense, Inc.
Defense & Government

Applies TORII Labs findings to classified defense programs, government cryptographic infrastructure, and national security applications. Operates under appropriate clearance and compliance frameworks.
